What is Pelorus Foundation?
Our mission is to champion innovation and act as a catalyst, empowering individuals and local communities to preserve and protect the world’s wildlife and wild places for future generations.
Earlier this year, Pelorus Foundation were approached by Roam and asked to create a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy for the new luxury Destination Management Company [DMC]. ROAM, launched in March 2023, gives travellers, both domestic and international, the chance to experience the unexperienced, by operating a robust, multi-vertical, product-driven, and service-led business made up of four key verticals: inbound tour operations, brand activations and events, VIP transportation, and tourism product development. Their aim is to rewrite the narrative of local tourism in KSA and ensure their sustainability aspirations are clear from the onset. To achieve this, Roam required a robust, yet creative CSR strategy that relates to, and influences, wider sustainable development policy and action in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
